Laurie Robison Smith is the Rehab Therapy Manager and Speech/Language Pathologist at Springfield Regional Medical Center’s Acute Rehab Unit. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders with a minor in Dance from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University. She fell in love with the Springfield Arts Community and has been performing, choreographing, and assisting with productions since 1995. Some of her most memorable shows and performances include CAROUSEL (Louise), BRIGADOON (Jane), SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS (Millie), CABARET (Kit Kat Girl and Assistant Choreographer), National Tour of WIZARD OF OZ (Munchkin/Winkie Staging Coordinator) and Choreographer for the Summer Arts Festival musicals ANNIE, MUSIC MAN JR, and SPAMALOT. Laurie is extremely lucky to be supported by her husband and daughters and is excited to work with this fantastic production team on this new musical.
